Michio Suzuki founds Suzuki Loom Works in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan on October 1909. In June 1952, Suzuki enters the motor-vehicle field. It launched the Power Free 36cc, 2-cycle auxiliary bicycle engine. ColledaCOX 125cc, a 4-cycle motorcycle debuts in March 1955. In March 2019, new 250cc sport bike GIXXER SF250 and　GIXXER250 debuts.
